    Should I get Xylon?

I will be picking up my new Audi in a few days and one of the options is for them to apply a compound to the paint that they say will keep it looking good. I was wondering if it is a rip off or if it really works? I will be getting a black car BTW.

Side note: Does any Audizine dealer sell the 3M clear bra?

NO. don't fall for their stupid claims. no matter what you will always have to wash and wax you car. there is no EASY long term protection.

you should invest in a clear bra

^^^ Agreed!!! If there was such pertection, professional detailers would be able to offer the same service and put alot of people out of jobs. No such thing...but there is something coming out in the future, but it hasnt been released yet...

Stick to regular details...just like you change your oil every 5K...(for audisthat is)...

I realize this thread is 3 years old, but am I correct in assuming this is still a waste of money? Better to skip it and just invest in a clearbra? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Nevermind, just did a little digging around and realized it's actually called Xzilon and it's just a marked up detail.

Nothing has changed about the product and the contract (what you are really paying for is still as repressive)

A coating product like Opti-Coat will provide a protection and a durability that can be measured in years
