Anyone running an s4 muffler?

I need a new muffler. I have a greddy muffler that is the ultimate fail. Sounds terrible and drones like hell. I heard njm23's exhaust and it sounds pretty good.

Just wondering how this exhaust sounds for people with 3in turbo back with a BT. I just need to get rid of the highway drone. I have a resonator inline already so hopefully the s4 muffler does the trick. I might even leave the sound baffles in to keep it quiet.

yeah just picked it up. I just need something that doesn't drone too bad on the highway. It seems pretty quiet.

you heard mine with the 3" TB on a tiny turbo haha with the sound baffling removed. Not like that helps all that much. And there is absolutely no drone, just the occasional rub/vibration since the piping isn't perfect. BTW pm'd you

yeah i like the way your car sounds. What size piping goes into the muffler? did it have to get reduced?

The muffler was converted to have a 3" inlet. It WOULD have to get reduced if it wasn't changed into a 3" inlet. pm was sent now, was typing haha

Gotcha. I'm not gutting the muffler so I guess i'll run a reducer.

yeah, well I am sure you could just have a shop open up the inlet on it to a 3", and you wouldn't/shouldn't have to gut it.

gotcha. If i can open it up then I will..cause the stock is 2.25in...so thats majorly weak.

if it's any help i'm running a neuspeed s4 catback, sounds awesome, as you've heard in the vids.
actually i just re-read your post and i'm absolutely no help here.. BUT, the idea of running an s4 muffler has crossed my mind at one point lol
