Question about INPRO brushed alluminum mirror caps.

Looking to purchase a set. hows the quality, is it cheap plastic ? In comparison to the ones standard on a S4 where does it compare ?

I am looking at 100-120 for the set.. what do you guys think ?

I've seen a lot of people get the inpro and they are happy. The quality is pretty good, not OEM but its a good alternative

the set i got was from 88-tuning on ebay out of germany. they are a matte finish and they look perfect compared to an s4. I was parked next to one and they were spot on. problem is they do cost 230 shipped since it is from germany

haha I'm at work too, I find it funny because you can browse audizine but not a car parts site lol. I checked and they only sell the chrome in pro ones (my bad) and they are sold out. I'd check ebay!

I have been looking for brushed for a long time and cant find anyone that sells them. Just so happens, a set of hagus brushed ones just got slapped down on my office desk in a USPS box. Sender: Audizine.com...hmm

I have InPro from 88-Tuning. They are plastic, and if you live in an area with massive temperature swings, as I do in Chicago, you may notice some cracking of the paint/coating like I have. Not to mention, they don't have the metallic luster of the OEM ones, without going with the cheap looking chrome ones (IMO).

do you think putting a coat of clear on them before you put them on would help witht he paint issue.

The ones I had sucked. I drove through a winter with them and it seemed as though they were covered with a really thin layer of metallic film kinda like aluminum foil. The foil all wrinkled up and they looked like shit.

I've got the matte In.Pro covers on my car for 3 years now and had no problems. They still look great! The weather here gets from cold in the winter (0 degrees celcius) to very very hot in the summer (40 degrees celcius) but the covers haven't been affected in any way..

The weather here gets below -30 degrees celsius, and they through salt all over the roads to melt the ice. That's what caused my mirrors to turn to shit.
