Hey guys, so when I go over bumps there is a metal clicking noise coming from the wheels, it kinda sounds like if a bolt was loose and the washer was rattling.. However, I checked everything to make sure nothing was loose and everything seemed to check out ok.. any idea as of what this could be??

i have h&r springs on the car.

    pic for fun

    Nice car :)))
Does the sound remind you of a lot of coins shaking in your glove compartment or some liek that?
Might be anything, check the control arms (bushings) if u can.

x2, probably your brake pads. Had this, and it got worse when I installed my coilovers. Changed my brakes this weekend and that noise disappeared.

    Re: Suspension problems??

Lived with it for around 8 months before changing my brakes. It that's your issue, it can be left that way.

oh sweet stuff, I was worried I'd have to like change out the control arm or something.

    Re: Suspension problems??

i had a knock when i did my springs/shocks and turned out i forgot a washer on top of the strut mount which acts as a spacer so they wouldnt knock around.

If the noise goes away when you lightly tap your brakes than than it's most likely your pads. Try it going up a hill, down a hill, and on level ground.
