    Brake Lube / Grease

Can someone recommend a high temp brake grease? I'm using the black goo from kragen auto parts. It works great for a week or so of daily driving, or a couple of high speed stops, then squeaking comes back. I need something that holds up to the heat better. I'm running stoptech 355's w/ carbotech ax6 pads in the front and stock calipers w/ ferodo ds2500 in the back, if that matters.

This stuff looks interesting, is it legit?

anybody? I guess what I'm referring to is also know as anti-squeal. So is everybody just using the packets that they sell at the counter of the auto parts store?

    Re: Brake Lube / Grease

Maybe we can help each other out, I changed my rear brakes two months ago and used the dollar packets from autozone that looks purple on the parts, I used a lot more than recommended since a lot of the metal absorbs most of it if its rusted/corroded. I hope its just a lack of grease issue. BTW do you have any clue where I can find what bolt sizes are used for a front caliper/brackt on 99.5 A4 2.8 quattro?

This is the best stuff I have found. works better than the grease. It's an elastomeric polymer that you apply to the back of disc brake pads to act as a vibration and sound absorbing layer. Available at most car parts stores.

'03 A4 5-MT Motoza tuned Frankenturbo F21L With full supporting mods. Sold (and missed dearly).
