Wheel opinion and vote!!

Alright guys,

I'm about to order a set of wheels soon, and wanted to find out what everyone thought. Both are VMR, both will by 19s. Here are some comparisons (without the drop of course):

V708 silver



V714

I saw the 710s - not really a huge fan, or a fan of many mesh wheels to be honest. But I fell in love with the Maya STMs which is one of the reasons I picked the 714s since I'm obviously not spending more than 800/wheel and want to keep this capped at 1100 on wheels lol

V714 makes your car look shitty as fuck! with stock wheels, If I am a complete car noob, I know your car is high end luxury at least, with those wheels, I would think they are made out of plastic shit materials and your car is probably worth only $3000.
this is nothing against VMR, I just don't like that wheel!

I would go with the 708's, just because their nice a clean looking, theres too much going on in the 714's that just my opinion.

I agree there is a lot going on with them. I've had a friend barking in my ear the past 2 weeks about mesh wheels (he owns a set of LMs on his MK5 gti) so i guess I've been slowly warming up to the idea of mesh. I just can't see spending that much money on a set of wheels! I should probably just go with my gut (the 708's were my original pick)

In the first post, the 2nd picture reminds me of a blinged out Altima for some reason. That's all I can think of when I see that picture. I say the RS4 reps, or go a completely different route. Mesh wheels are way overdone.

I'll agree 110% that the RS4 reps are way overdone, especially in the forums and at audi events... BUT - I hardly ever see them in person, especially around my area - only 2 VWs run them.. and they really belong on an audi ;)

I really love the S6 wheels that are on MikTip's A4, but I've only seen them in 18's and buying another OEM wheel is sorta like mehh whats the point when it's not an RS4 rep.
