S6 LED install into S-line bumper!

OK, so i love the look of the recent LED installs on the front grill, but what I really want to do is install the S6 LEDs in the front grills. Check out this car on EBAY. In the event this link doesn't work, the item number is 300245060841 so look at those pics. Has anyone actually done this do their S-line bumber, and if so can they share how they were mounted. I want to do this, but I am afraid to cut my nice new bumper without having a good idea of how to mount them properly first. Please help me mod my baby!

you wouldnt have to cut the bumper, but I'm more then 90% sure you would have to cut the housing for the fog-lights. Whoever installed the oetty kit, tried to mount the s-line foglight housings which dont fit the kit. and then to make matters worse, tried shoving the s6 leds in there as well. S6 leds can work, but i ehar they are costly.

check out TipTronics LED thread. its for non-s-line, but with a lil ingenuity, it can be done.

And i believe that the install not only requires modifications to the fog grills, u may have to ditch your fogs altogether for a cleaner install- plus a ''somewhat'' complicated wiring issues. There was a thread going about S6 Leds on the mkV/Gti forums at VWVortex..
After serious considerations- i ended up fabricating my own- for less.

I bought that car on ebay, had to do some work on the LED lights to munt them properly and got rid of the badly mounted lower covers, replaced them with mesh material like the center grill. at the same time of course I mounted my remote radar detector.. looks great, will post pictures soon...
