Picking up an S4....help me decide what color

Hey guys. Having issues with my e46 m3 so I'm looking to make the switch to a B6 s4. Found two of them at the same dealer, same mileage, same price...so I guess it comes down to color. Just wondering what the general consensus was over here on the best colors for S4: Brilliant Red or Moro Blue Pearl. I'm kinda leaning towards the red but I cant stand the wood grain on the interior. I also prefer the interior color on the moro blue.

Depends on what you want to do with the car.

I'd go with red under these conditions: Must have different wheels, must have dark tint, must get rid of that wood grain. I've always liked red, but the car needs to reflect the intentions of the color, if that makes sense. (mean and fast)

I'd go with moro under these conditions: Leaving the car stock for a while. I think the moro looks really classy and clean. The white/gray leather can be a bitch to maintain. The CF trim is nice. The car looks great right out of the box and any further modifications will enhance the look.

I hope you don't think you're getting into a hassle free car.

I have red with black. Red is my favorite, but the moro blue is beautiful, but only with the black interior, and only if it is clean(which it would be challenging to keep that way!). Get the blue, as it is less common. If you can find it with black, even less common. Or, see if they'll switch out the trim on the cars, it is easy to do.

The color choice is a tough call . . . but I've got to say you can't go wrong with the guys at Donohoo! I bought my B6 S4 through them a few months ago, and they were fantastic to deal with. I had a minor issue with mine about four days after I bought it, and Jay did what it took to make it right. I'll definitely be going back there when I'm in the market for my next Audi.

With the B7 S4 you get a black headliner with black seats and platinum headliner with platinum seats. I think the B6 S4s had the black headliner with the platinum seats.

My vote is for the red...get some CF trim for it though (can be had for anywhere from $450-$650)...Good luck!

Headliner is black, seats and rear deck are white, if you keep it clean it is a stunning combination. I have a 4 year old so it is a PITA.

Exactly! Also, don't listen to what anyone says about the frost interior. It isn't hard to keep clean at all. I don't think that you can beat the blue with frost interior. That's gotta be one of the best color combo's out there.

Wow, what a great choice to have to make! Of course I'm biased here, but the MBP/Silver interior is such a great combo. I've had no problem keeping it clean (living in Vegas would be excruciating with black leather). The red is sportier, but the blue is classier IMO. As for rarity, in three years I've only seen two other MBP S4's but only one red <shrug>. It all comes down to what makes you feel best when you see it. Also, since there are two of the cars, I would have them give you the 5 best wheels out of the 10. Even if they have to have the tires swapped. FTW

I just wanted to add that the reason I voted for blue is because I don't like the rims/interior of the red shown... If the interior is aluminum, I would pick red (for other ppl, don't see myself driving it...)... Red is just too rare and gorgeous looking... That light wood color just looks wrong in that car!

to bad they dont have paddles. there alot of fun and i enjoy them when driving on curvy roads. You know what really pisses me off. why would you put wood trim in a sport sedan such as an S4 or RS4. thats a real pet peve of mine. I understand its also a luxaury car put come on.

Moro Blue for sure. I am deffiantly biased in this but I chose moro blue for my B7 A4 and havent regretted it once! One of the best color combos, and I dont see to many of them on the road which is a plus.

I have to admit I love the bright blue recaro's in my moro blue. I think the white might be a little too much for me at least.

Red on Black is very sporty. Moro Blue is classy and White is a unique interior. I voted Moro Blue/White...its the better overall combo in my opinion.
