San Diego owners/Service question

Hi all SD folk!

I am looking for a good shop to perform my first oil change at 1400 miles. Not wanting to wait for the 5000 mile service, and don't really want to go to a dealer (unless someone recommends a great one).

Also, where's a good place for tuning? Looking to start some mods and was thinking of the APR chip.

But yeah, you should be waiting until 5000mi before you flush out the oil. Nowadays the oil that's in the engine when you buy a car brand new is supposed to help aid the break in process. And that's just one reason why scheduled maintenance is at 5k miles...

As for good shops in SD, my friend John (nine1twoinc) recommends Group 5 Motorsports.
