Just bought a 2001 A4

Hey guys i just bought a 2001 A4 1.8T with 146,000KM. I already have an h7 hid kit lying around so i was thinking of putting that into my fogs. I looked around and can't seem to find a S4 front bumper which i really want and i am probably going to paint the black molding to silver which is the body colour. As for rims the PO put brand new michilin tires on it so i am prolli not going to get rims until the tires are bare, then at that time i will most likely drop it with coilovers H&R.

Is there anything else i should do and i wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of your cars.

Welcome to Audizine! Congradulations on your purchase. You will come to know that there is much which can be done to your car besides cosmetics and suspension to compliment them. You should aquaint yourself well with the search feature and read the FAQ sheet located at the top of the B5 A4 section. There, you will also find a thread of cars and the wheel/suspension they have with pics. Plus a cars and faces thread.

I;d change the timing belt, unless you have records of when it was done

+1 on timing belt. If you have $500 to spend, chp it for 30hp more and like 60lb tq!

Welcome. Like said already look at the B5 FAQ. There are also a lot of DIY write ups that you can do right away to clean the look of the car up some.

+3 on the timing belt.
Gauge rings, fix the center display, ipod integration, tint the windows, exhaust tip (you can change the whole exhaust if you have money), rear windows one touch up, black out the grill, I think that's pretty much what I did on my car.

those tires are going to last you like 4 years lol. but really timming belt (buddy got a high milage S4 and his water pump blew beucase he was taking to long to do the job himself) Good to see your from Toronto. If you need a great guy to do your timming belt for a great price pm me and i can give you the details, he is audi certified so he knows what hes doing. After the belt, chip it and get a dp/exhaust and your set
