Re: coolant hose.. need OEM part number

its a coolant return line to the water pipe. runs along the front of the engine. Its a molded line now and it has some weird ass bends in it. not sure a generic hose will work without kinking it up. i will have to look at it more whne i get home.

    thanks

the one that runs right in front of the engine? just stop at your local auto repair shop and get generic hose it works fine you don't need the bends trust me i had the same problem when my original hose melted to the outlet on the engine.

Re: coolant hose.. need OEM part number

yea thanks for the help guys. bought the wrong size hose twice, gonna go back tommorrow and get the correct size. FYI 1/2in is to big. the hose says 5/16 but i think tahts the inside diameter. so tomorrow i go and get the correct size which i think is 3/8...

3/8 bro... mine got eatn by my pancake valve (hot and sharp dont mix w/ plastic when the DAPO twisted the line the wrong direction..)...

Switch it with some good heater hose and you'll be golden for years.. Find out why its leaking and see if something was rubbing on it.. I put a metal bracket between my rub..
