losing coolant... why?

my low coolant light keeps coming on. and i have had to top off my g12 like once or twice a month. why is this anyone know? its not leaking out in my garage anywhere and i dont see any leaks.

Everybody will say check the afterrun coolant pump under the intake manifold. It usually drips onto there and dries up. Shine a flashlight under there and look for crusty dried coolant.

i highly suggest you stop driving the car until you find out whats wrong.

did you check the coolant reservior? it might be cracked somewhere. i would check all of the hoses too.

if it has 4 rings it has coolant leaks, fact of life

Agree it's the auxillary coolant pump. I did mine without removing the intake manifold and it wasn't a bad job at all. There's a good write up on AW about it.
