    koni coilover questions

My coilovers did not come with any instructions so I need some help. I tried searching but did not get the answers I was looking for.

For damping adjustments, does clockwise equals firmer on both the front and rear shocks?

How do you adjust the rear ride height and then lock it into place? The perch doesn't have a locking collar like the fronts.

How much mileage or time should I wait to have the springs settle, and then go for an alignment?

    Thanks,
    Jay

    Re: koni coilover questions

the koni website has an faq for adjusting the dampening. if you can't find it i recently had a thread with my after install pics and someone put the link in there.

if you can read/speak german the cd that came with the coilovers has installation, adjustment instructions... useless to me.

general wait time is probably 5-7 days to settle.

    Re: koni coilover questions

Dampening for all 4: Push the shock together completely, turn right until it stops and that is the hardest setting. I turned mine a half turn back and am quite happy but very firm.

Height for rears: Screw the perch all the way down on the ???(whatever you screw it down on). Than turn it back 4-6 turns(i did mine 4)

Height for fronts: I have mine set at 2.5 inches from the top of the threads(thanks to another member for the help on that).

if you need some more help PM me.

Here is a before and after; first with sport suspension, and than with Koni's using those measurements.

    Green shocks, yes.

    Red shocks, no.
"Obsessed" is a word that the lazy use to describe the committed.
