anyone install a cupra lip on a NON USP front end?

since the middle part of the bumper is lower than the side you would have to trim the middle post on the lip to accommodate the difference

Here are a few I found on a stock bumper, it doesn't look bad, but it does look much better with a USP front. I am sure you can find more by searching Cupra...







From this angle it looks off IMO, you can see how it is bent to curve with the bumper

^^ yea thats it, i actually put the tape on the skinnier side of the strip so the bigger part was the actual lip i also used a few tiny screws on the ends to make it fit better, its pretty easy, you'll figure it out..

I love how our non-usp cars look with the cupra from a front view, but from a side view it does not go well with the car. I think it only looks good on the USP, not the S4 or non-usp. The USP has a sharper line at the bottom which makes it look better.

sorry for bringing this up, I got one off a B7 and the ends dont seem to match, someone says you gotta trim the ends too? can anyone justify that?

He didn't say it was a Cupra-R, he said it was the vinny mod, which is weather stripping/garage door trim etc. Same as EZ-Lip IMO.
