The bumpers are being painted this week. The exhaust needs to go to an exhaust shop. The collector was stretched and cut out for equal length 2.5" downpipes. So, It doesn't seal as it should. Since, I do not have Bose the metra wiring harness doesn't quite work. The rear speakers do not produce sound. I need to buy an amplified antenna because the one supplied in the kit is not. But, it pulls hard and isn't leaking anything (knock on wood).

My car was resprayed at one point and it looks brutal. I guess Imola is hard to match. /Th front of the car has mor red in it and looks a little orangey. Gonna re-spray it next year though.

96 a4 trunk IS a euro trunk. unless your are referring to the 1.9 tdi trunk which is slightly different, the s4s in europe came with 96 a4 trunks.

Not true, there are 2 different trunks. 1 of them has the lines just below the license plate cutout, which is the 96 trunk, and then the other lacks those horizontal lines.

Yes, that's a Euro trunk, facelift.

The red one above is also a Euro trunk, pre-facelift.

I have a number of pre-facelift ones for sale, £75 (approx. $153)

There is no differentiation between Euro trunks, regardless of what B5 model it's fitted to.

There are 2 - facelift and pre-facelift, the change took place on all B5 models at the same time, from 1,6 petrol, 1,9TDI through to the S4.

The red one above, pre-facelift was fitted from 1995 through to 1999, while the black one, post-facelift was fitted from 1999.5 through till 2001.5.

The last body shop did a pretty good job last time. I am going through a new body shop this time. The other one just doesn't have the time.

Not for free. But, pretty close compared to what a shop would have charged. They are awesome guys!

Opens either with the key, via 3rd button on remote fob, or via micro switches under the licence plate plinth.

There are 2, inboard of the licence plate lamps.
