RaceTec installed! Logs as well from today.

Got it yesterday afternoon after placing my order 3 weeks ago. By 9pm, it was installed. Took about 4 hours.







Did some logging today. Ambient temp was about 90, 2 people in car w/ AC on. 3rd gear run up to 6000 rpms. Average IAT held steady around 37-39 while cruising on the highway. Pushing it in 4th or 5th puts it in the mid 40s.



It pulls hard every time I push it, love it! :zoom:

Numbers look good Greg, didn't know you had an account on AZ. Sorry it took a little longer then we thought to get you the FMIC, but Racetec wanted to do some fitment tests and then didn't even get to do them because the car never showed up.

BTW you got lucky and got the old price even though Racetec's prices on the B6 kit have gone up $26.

Well those people have not looked at their IAT's with a stock IC which can reach 90C just during a 3rd gear pull to 6k rpm in 80F deg air temps. Thats a huge difference between C reading in the 50's with the FMIC.


90C = 194F degs
55C = 131F degs


At 90C the stock SMIC is very heat soaked and takes longer to cool down because of where it is located.
