    So today I was taking delivery of my new A6 at Bell Audi in NJ and I saw a blue R8 sitting next to my car. First off this car is amazing... There is no other way to describe the car. OK, so everyone was kind of hanging around to see exactly who was picking up this car. There were some rumors of the person being a young wall street analyst etc. So the guy shows up, pays for the car cash (i.e. certified check), gets the damn thing at MSRP YES MSRP for a R8 that is going for $30k over the MSRP. The guy is 33 years old and drives off in an R8 for $126K + tax (roughly $10K). Everyone in the dealership was kind of astounded that he blew $136k but the guy actually made $30K - $40K after driving off the lot WTF? What am I doing wrong lol...

    I don't understand, why were people astounded? That's what they cost, lots of people buy them.

    He probably ordered it so they probably didn't charge him that huge premium
