BT question

is it possible for me to run a BT kit without running into any problems since i have a tiptronic?

Probably a tip chip(if there is one made)

thats a good question, time will tell once its released....according to AWE, tip should not have any problems.

It should be fine, it does not produce that much more TQ over the K03 and it is at a much higher RPM. No Tip chip yet, hopefully its less than a year away.

VF is releasing one in the near future and as far as I know should work on Tip as well. Their transverse out for 2.0t does great. Just keep an eye out or shoot them an email.

awe's gt28r puts out a lot more torque and hp (330 and 375). i cant imagine the tiptronic being happy handling that much power. the ko4, sure. but the gt? i would probably build up the trans at least a little

330 torque is not that much. the k04 and bolt ons puts out more than that. apr's 1st edition k04 (the slow and screwed up one) put out 321 torque crank. that's without the fuel pump file which adds 30 more, then add the bolt ons.
