IDEAL numbers for a staggered 19" setup?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I apologize, but I've read through a multitude of threads and could not find a conclusive answer. Can anybody tell me the IDEAL numbers for running a staggered 19" setup on a suspension with a moderate drop such as an Eibach Pro-System (25.25")? EDIT I mistakingly put "Pro-Kit" when I meant the Pro-System springs/dampers.

So far I've come up with these numbers:

    19x8.5/19x9.5 et35, 5x112, 57.1

    Can anybody please confirm?

Once again, I'm asking for IDEAL numbers - if you were going to make a wheel SPECIFICALLY for a B6 A4 what would they be? No rub, no camber adjustment, etc, perfect!

#s for a non staggered setup and tires would be appreciated as well!

    Thank you all in advance

Depending on the height you like, and for most wheels ET35 is pretty common. If your able to choose your offsets, you might want to change them a bit depending on your height preference.

I wanted my HRE's to tuck, so the offsets HRE recommended was 19x8.5 ET39 w/ 235/35for the front and 19x9.5 ET36 w/ 245/35 for the rear. My front height is 24.25 and rear 24.5 to the fender arch. The front NEVER rubs no matter what, the rear rubs a tad on the corner of the sidewall on big bumps or when I have a ton of crap in the car. I wish my rear offset was 38-39 like the front, it would never ever rub that way, no matter what the road or load in the car

Gorgeous ride A4RingedOne8T! Ideally that would be the stance that I would like to have, but due to the New England weather, I'm going to go with a moderate drop (25.25") - not to mention the Eibach Pro-System seems to be the best bang for the buck.

20VPower - I'm assuming those pics are with the stock sports suspension? The offset #s would be greatly appreciated!

Regardless, keep those #s coming! I have a close contact in the wheel industry who's willing to customize a wheel to my specifications so I'd like to get the best and most accurate numbers!

Admittedly, I'm also a budding enthusiast with a limited budget and knowledge in this area so I'd like to get this done right the first time around! Regards

Shawn did you roll your fenders in the front? All I did was take out the screw and tab. I rub in the front and not the back which I have come to find out is opposite of everyone else.

Not tryign to thread jack so here is some useful information, if you are getting your wheels made by a reputable company such as iForged, DPE, HRE, or any company very common with your car, in this case the B6, let them do the work. Make sure the company knows your car, I wouldn't tell you order eforged wheels and expect them to know what offset would be optimal because though they are reputable, they don't seem to have much knowledge in the Audi scene (I know from experience). When I ordered my iForged wheels I told them I wanted as far out as possible without rubbing on a low ride. I think my setup came out perfect. I run 20x9.5 rears and don't rub ever, even when I initially lowered my car and had only 5 threads left from being all the way down. From my reasearch, between 30 and 35 on a 9.5" rear wheel will get you pretty flush with the fender. I wouldn't go higher than et35 in the front to prevent rubbing on the fender.

The setup you're talking about is my similar setup except I have ET38 all around with Eibach Prokit Coilovers.

Re: IDEAL numbers for a staggered 19" setup?

Love the Dolphins, they give some inspiration as to what I'll be doing with my car in the future! I guess the hardest part will be deciding what color wheels to get

Is it safe to say that ET38 is a good bet for the 19x9.5 in the rear?

EDIT: I just realized that Eibach "Pro-Kit" refers to the coilover set rather than the "Pro-System" which are the spring/dampers, which is what I intend to get. I've also edited my original post to reflect that.

Given that I'll be about 1 inch higher than A4RingedONE8T's, should I still go for the 19s? I've seen a picture of the Pro-System on a denim blue A4 on stock 18"(?) USP wheels that look great.

I apologize, I'm a little OCD and I definitely don't want any regrets especially when I have the opportunity to make the wheel to my specifications.

Re: IDEAL numbers for a staggered 19" setup?

Et38 in the rear is a bit close, but Im all the way down on my coilovers, so I had mine put -2 degrees of camber in the rear. So to be safe stick to Et35 and you wont have rubbing issues.
