swapped in a gpop shop ko3/ko4 turbo which blew the seals out after about 60 miles. I sent it back to them on monday and got pictures back from them today. They said there was coolant in my oil which caused the bearing to fry.
Does this seem possible that it would cause such a failure after less than 100 miles?
I've got to run out to the shop my car is sitting at and check for coolant in the oil. Prior to swapping out the turbo I notice no white smoke in the exhaust or the coolant level dropping. Seems odd that the head gasket would just happen to go at the same time the new turbo was installed. Not sure if Gpop is just messing with me so they won't have to warrenty to the turbo?
