    996 caliper fitment and parts question

    Hi i just picked up a used set of porsche 996 front and back calipers. what do i need to get to mount them on to a 2004 audi 1.8t i have nothing so far just the 4 calipers they are off 2001 996. thanks oh how much difference am i going to feel with them? they are 4 piston.

    You will need custom caliper mounting brackets(5).

    Depending on the rotors you select, custom brake rotor hats(1).

    These two items adapt the calipers and rotors to your car.



    Also custom brake lines(4).

    IMO, your better off getting a BBK, where all these factors have already been engineered, and fabricated for your specific make
    and model of car. As "custom" brake parts are generally very expensive to procure.

    Here's my latest brake upgrade-



    B7 S4 brakes. Cost me less than $700, and are 345mm rotors.

    Soon to have these-



    B7 RS4 brakes. 365mm rotors, 8-piston Brembo calipers, and all these bolt right onto the B6 A4!

    The caliper brakets and rotor hats have already been engineered and everything just needs to be bolted on! Can be DIY installed in less than 2 hours!

    ok i should probably get rid of them then but where can i get a hold of some s4 or rs4 calipers and parts needed to do the brake job oh do the rear calipers fit on as well or is it just the front that bolts up.

    My B7 S4 front brakes will be forsale after I install the B7 RS4 brakes.

    A gentleman who upgraded his B7 RS4 to Alcon's, sold me his OEM B7 RS4 brakes. Simply awaiting UPS to deliver'm

    The larger rear OEM B6 S4 brakes bolt up to the B6 A4
