I dont have the digital rear view with the compass so I bought a little sticky compass ball that sticks to your windshield. Problem is...when I raise it from my body to the windshield (next to the rear view), it only reads South. When I bring it back to my body again it reads correctly.

Are there magnets somewhere in the area?
