i followed the directions in the manual and tryed programing it to my craftsman garage door openor and i have had no luck whatsoever

hmm i have a craftsman garage door opener and i followed the owners manual and it worked? i wonder why it wont work...

You might have that rolling code thing on your actual garage door unit. Hit the "learn" mode on it and then do the programming in your car.

first hold the remote 6-12" from the bumper of ur car while someone holds down the button inside and when it stars flashing at crazy speeds push the button on ur opener and push the button in the car till the light turns off and on and ur set!
