need a part #

anyone know a part # or another place besides the dealer where i can get the solid metal line that comes out of the back of the front brake calipers? (B5S4 front brakes)

both of mine were damaged in shipping....

or better yet - can i reuse the one that's on my stock brakes?

Both my hardlines were damaged during shipping as well. Heres the thing, when I went to the dealer, there is actually two different shapes that those hardline take (depending on year). I just guessed the year 2001 and I did get the right part. just a heads up.

As for the part number, why not just call up the dealer?

thanks for the heads up - i'll look at the drawings really carefully before i order anything. as for not calling - the dealer was closed by the time i opened the box, and i was looking to get this sorted out asap.

Hopefully your dealer can figure it out. I ordered the line from my dealer and got one from a B6 S4 instead of B7. It ended up working but it wasn't pretty.
