When I start my car I hear a screach...

When my car is cold[ish], (sitting for more than 30 mins or so)

I hear a screach when it starts, kinda sounds like a belt.


My timing belt has been changed though, so what could it be?

Try Putting A Dab Of Rtv On The Serp Belt Then Start It, If It Doesnt Make A Noise Then You Know Its Your Belt, If Not Than Have To Look Further

wd40 does the same thing. fixed many a squeaky belt on shitty cars with that stuff in my day

(total sarcasm... if a belt is squeaking wd40 is NEVER a "fix"...it just shuts it up long enough for you to work on finding out what's really wrong lol)

whine from the rear of the vehicle is your fuel pump, try replacing fuel filter first that may do it. if not the pump is dying and get it replaced.

MINE does the same thing. i am guessing its the starter. might be the belt too. maybe i will check it out with my friend starting it and the hood open. see what happens in the morning
