i just purchased an 07' LG sline turbo 6sp with open sky...no nav/xenon
...heres a few ?'s for you

-headlights (what are my aftermarket options?) lookn for a blacked out something...good beam pattern. projector, even WITH HIDs.
-grills (blacked out...carbon?! whats out there? filler and surround)
-side skirts (OTHER then reiger/osir/oettinger...) something clean
-whos got WIDE rear wheels...(by wide i mean 10"+) specs???
-whos running 9" up front? ET? specs? let me know.

if anyone has answers to any of this...post up. ill add stuff i find...or new questions...others do the same.
(make sure your questions are worthy of a sticky or at least a thread with some GOOD, key info for modders...no basics. not stuff already posted)

new to a3 land and ready to learn. been doing my research for months, and thought id post up and say hello since its happening...hear from the others. get ready. i have BIG plans...

biggest i've seen on width for tire is maybe a 9.5, but even then im not sure. with high offsets, everythin is pushed to the inside.


check out fourtitude. there is a lot more buzz goin on over there for the a3's. what color you end up with?

the "noise" is just air in the dimple between the pad and rotor...from day one it should be subtle and pleasant. anything else is the pad or install.

no, i know what that noise is...sounds like cicadas getting use to that. the sound i'm talking about sounded more like metal scratching. again, doesn't really matter since its gone.

b/c you got a 2.0...i don't have much info, but you should join fourtitude as stated above...or at least peep it.

for the smoked headlights how about a strip of smoked lamin-x? I saw an A3 with them the other day it was pretty sickk

for the grill, go blacked out for sure, I don't really like carbon fiber, I think its meant for supercars and looks best on them

I have Neuspeed on my B6 and it's pretty good. People like to shoot it down because it's not the upper 3 tuners, but whatever. I will likely switch to Revo though when I get my GTRS.

By the time i read it looks like you already have a good lists down! Headlights FK has some blk housing ones, dont know how good they are though. Or you can get Lamin-x smoked, works quite well! Blk out grille is good, the oem blk out s-line. Have it on mine and got it from you guys! S3 skirts is nice & good idea on keeping the S-line front & add a splitter. Alot of ppl ran the seat cupra R lip

says fronts are et 40's with a 20mm spacer but i dunno how running an et20 works on our cars...

sounds like hes rubbing like i am on the dub due to no dampening adjustability.
ill be running pss10s and better stretch so i think i got this. pulled fenders as well. working hand in hand with DPE, so the results should be spot on. ill know more this weekend...
