    Chill Spots in Chicagoland

Well Sanjman came up with the idea so I guess I'll start.

Cafe Mirage - Corner of Lawrence and 25th by Manheim in Schiller Park. It's a nice place in the summer with a few palm trees and lots of tables to sit outside. Food is good, mostly Eastern European dishes.

Cafe Cappuchino - South on Harlem after the HIP mall. It's on a little plaza, also a nice place, but its smaller. Either way good food, booze and definetly hot girls.

Krokodil - Corner of Belmont and Austin. Polish cafe, with an amazing sushi chef, if you are into it. Their chicken is good, chicken sandwich, chicken wings, chicken caesar salad and so on. Beware sometimes the chef isn't there at all. Big indoor place with good music and lots of alcohol. Good spot.

Il Cortile - Cumberland and Lawrence an Italian owned joint. Everyone goes there though because it's a pretty nice spot to just sit down and relax, whether it will be outside or inside. Kitchen is very good, and it's just a good place overall.

Well that's where I hang out. So feel free to post your spots.

There's a flatbread pizza place called Crust located on Division and Damen in Ukranian Village. They serve all organic pizzas and all organic beers... some really good choices of beer and wine. Pizza is okay but has a nice outdoor and indoor areas.

Another great pizza place is called Piece in Bucktown on North Ave. I'm not going to lie the people around there are kind of flamboyant... but the atmosphere of the place and the food and selection of beers is amazing.

Haha yes to the hooka. I usually go to North Park hooka or Ali Baba, those are the only place I go. Where do you go?

For real dude, Carthage is right next to North Park, like a block down, and Ugly is on Bryn Mawr and Kimball, all these places are like 5 mins away from my house, not even. Hit me up sometime bro, I was just at North Park tonight.

lol I used to go to Ali bab's daily too.

No, never heard about it... I like when Hookah bar stays a Hookah place, not like a half club/bar with hookah...

    Re: Chill Spots in Chicagoland

I must have forgotten to click the post button...

Some of the cheapest places I found for hookah was at Sigara at Division and Damen with a great traditional cafe style setting and great choices of flavors.

Another which is a restaurant with a tiny small bar upstairs called A La Turka has great Mediterranean food and hookah. I think this place when we went only had double apple at the time (last summer)

P.S. I heard sahara is WAY too expensive... there's no reason to be paying more than 10 per hookah... some places charge by the person and some places charge by the hour... kind of sucks.

    Re: Chill Spots in Chicagoland

Really? I know at Ali Baba they've had double apple for a while, although its not my cup of tea when it comes to the flavor. Either way that place sounds like its Turkish and I think one of my Turkish friends was telling me about it. Never been there though.

    Re: Chill Spots in Chicagoland

yea not a fan of double apple... but seems to be a popular choice... I think they might have ran out or something at the time because they are more about the dining experience than they are about hookah experience which is supposed to be an aftermeal type of thing... correct me if i'm wrong.

No I agree with you, there's nothing better than hookah after a nice meal. That's when the hookah is the best actually.

    Re: Chill Spots in Chicagoland

There is no FOOD and Hookah places anymore in Chicago. They cant sell hookah and food at the same time. So a lot of hookah bars became Hookah places only. But u can always bring the food to almost any hookah place.
And i think the minimum of a hookah must be $12 per one. Or they charge per person.

Xando's Cafe, I think it is in Parlos Park or around there.

Also Downtown Naperville, across from Jimmys there is a bar/club that usually has a good girl to guy ratio

I just partied in Naperville Downtown for the first time this weekend after a wedding... all I gotta say is NOW I know why people go party there... girls are pretty hot... decent atmosphere. Naperville is like their own city kind of... they got everything. I bet 70% of those people have never gone to the city to party... lol... I'm not sure if I'm jealous or pity the fools.

BTW I went to I think it was called Beachers... nice place... like the beer garden
