First shipment of the all-new Achtuning edition S5 wheel has arrived!!

Before we get a chance to add these to our website, I snapped some shots of the wheel sitting on our showroom floor.











Hartmann S5 - 209 wheels in:
▫ 19x8.5" ET25 5x112 bolt pattern
▫ 20x9.0" ET25 5x112 bolt pattern

Very pleasantly surprised with how the S5 wheels turned out!

The 19s weigh 28.8 lbs.
The 20s weigh 32.4 lbs.

We'll have on-car pics as soon as we can but we're shipping out so many wheels right now it's tough to say when we'll have a chance to throw a set on a local car.

Final price is still being determined but anyone who calls now to pre-order is receiving a "discounted" price which I am not authorized to post. They're gonna be a bit over $300 per wheel though.

The offset is too aggressive for your C6 A6 I think. We do have some 19s due in on the next container that will be a 38mm offset and will work with the C5 A6 2.7T, C6 A6, B6/B7 A4s and S4s. Those won't be available until the Fall sometime.

Not chrome on the outer face, machined. And yes, the inner spokes and barrel is a darker gray color.

On the contrary, I've sold 3 sets already with more inquiries still being replied to. But I agree, pics do help push the sales.

I can assure you though we intend to put these wheels on a few cars to take pictures. I would just rather make sure my customers get their orders first before playing with our own cars and snapping pics. Then again if any of our local customers come through to pick up a set, of course we will take pictures post-install. Thanks in advance to all for your patience.

I personally think the rims look great! :D
Even better than the original S5 rims, sharper and more agressive.
Definately on my list as no 1 when I get my S5.

But they look a lot darker than the original, especially on the inside... are they painted with a darker/titanium finish?

Yes our wheels are significantly different from the factory style in that the face of the wheel is machined, and the paint color between the spokes and back behind the wheel are a much darker gray color. The factory wheel is a hyper silver color IIRC.

Yea I saw that on the pictures at the top of this thread, but thought maybe it was the lighting.

Do you know if it's possible to paint this "hyper silver color" on your rims? Would it look good? By that I mean if it would look like a cheap aftermarket with custom color painted or if it would look original :D

That would certainly depend on who you take it to, but yes it's possible. But with all the hyper silver colored wheels I stare at every day, this machined face "pops" to me and it's tough to say it would look better all-silver. Check this out for example... Doesn't look near as good to me.

I love those rims. have you done any without the silver, as if it is a titanium look wheel? i would really like that.

I have a white S5 (or i will in a week) and i was thinking about going with a really dark wheel.

That's probably the darkest wheel from our current line-up that would fit the A5/S5s and it's a bit too early for me to tell if any future offerings will include a dark-colored wheel. Check back though!
