Badge Question

I have DTM package on my b7 S4 so the grille is the same as the regular A4's with 'Quattro' badge in front.

This might sound silly but will a regular 'S4' badge fit on the front grille anywhere? Where is a good place to buy this badge?

i might be pulling the s4 badges off my car, i'd have one then. you could prob just get it from the dealership. considering a4 guys put s4 badges on all the time, i'm sure it'd fit

HAHAHA thats just cold blooded... but I was wondering the same thing why my S4 didnt have a front badge.

DTM's all came with the "quattro" badge.
I believe you can pick up an "s4" grille badge from Vagparts for about $!6.

You're right.
Your best bet might just be to head to the dealer. I dont think it will run you more than $20. The pain might be installing it.
You might need to remove the bumper to do so correctly or you can always just epoxy it.

Here is how the badge is attached to the grille.

wow so much work? in that case..forget it then if that involves removal of the bumper.

it doesnt fit properly on the grille DTM has either. many have tried, most have failed. a lot of people glue it

^^^^^ that was the impression I was under. The grating is different. Notice in the picture above, the S4 logo sits 'snuggly' in that one little spot.

But, you should try it out...who knows, you might be the lucky one!
