We currently have our B6/B7 S4 High Flow Downpipes In Stock and Ready to Ship!

Not only are our downpipes thoroughly tested and documented, but our construction is second to none. Featuring genuine German HJS metal core catalytic converters, all stainless steel construction, smooth bore flex joints, and proper bracketry, these downpipes will outlast your car.

We know of no other exhaust manufacturer that takes the time to hand finish each and every of their welds internally, where smooth flow is critical. Look closely: you may find that only the clearly visible welds at the inlets or outlets of some systems are ground down smooth, but even the welds you cannot easily see on AWE Tuning systems are finished for flow.

    Some detail pictures:

We did extensive testing of these downpipes, including measuring Interior Sound Levels.

Dyno verified gains of 9hp and 9 lb ft at the crank!

that seems kinda loud...70db at midrange cruise is about the sound of a vacuum cleaner? on a higher end, 75db is 5 times louder than at 70db

70db is not very loud at all, especially considering that these cars with a stock exhaust measure around 66-67db in the same condition.

Here is a graph that charts the Interior Sound Levels of our various B6 S4 exhausts so you can see exactly what I mean.

Loud is totally relative. A stock 997S at part throttle reaches 75db.

yah, i realize that. i was just musing. from 66-67 to 70, you're looking at a 3 to 4 fold increase in sound since dbs are logarithmic units. but you're right, "loud" is very personal.
