Dented fender and hole in side skirt

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
This is my second email regarding my 1.8t. There is a dent on the fender (No clue how it happened at all). the paint is fine, no scratches, just dented.

Here is the hole in the side skirt. It was there when I bought the car.

Any suggestions/mods/cost estimates/etc are welcome! Even if unrelated to issue at hand!

3.0L AUDI A4 says here: that the fender will be $180 from a dealership, not painted tho.

Re: Dented fender and hole in side skirt

Can't it just be repaired instead?

I'll let one of the other members answer that, as I don't know.
I have similar dents but on my passenger side fender. I still haven't gotten an estimate to repair it yet, just the Canadian pricing on the fender.

Re: Dented fender and hole in side skirt

from the looks of it, you may need to have a bodyshop pull those dents. You could pull them yourselves with a dent king or some gimmicky device, but it will leave dimples or grooves in it. Most likely, a shop will pull the dents and bondo any imperfections and than repaint the fender and blend the adjacent panels (hood and door) to match (if you want to do it right). And the side skirt looks like it needs to be replaced or a shop may be able to use fiberglass to repair it. I'm not familiar with the material of the side skirt. Regardless, they will need to repaint it as well, but should not be too much more considering you are having the fender painted.

I would call a few body shops for estimates...
