Question regarding Removing A/C Condensor? For FMIC

My AC isnt working properly in the car and i would like to remove the ac condenser to save an inch for the front mount that i will be installing as soon as it shows up.

how difficult it is to remove the condenser completely. i always see people just put them aside. i want it off. is it just quick disconnect. i don't care is i lose all my freon, can i run it without the condenser in front of radiator is my question?

i took my ac out and it gave me a bit more space with an RS4 bumper w/o it. A stock bumper with FMIC should not touch at all, barely with the condensor out.

If your AC isn't working replace the expansion valve right near the firewall, i may be clogged, then if still no AC replace the Compressor. But first check there is no DTC's in in the HVAC System.

You don't have to remove the Condenser to install a FMIC

when i installed my fmic i also removed the condenser. While doing that i also removed the entire ac system to shed some weight and free up some rotating mass. it is very easy to remove completely. Just the mounting brackets and all 10 mm holding it up as well as the bracket that holds the ac lines to the core....

what else did you remove from the ac system.

even if it would work, i would never use it, just a waste of gas.
cant wait for the Fmic and will be removing the clutch fan assembly.

You likely have a leak in your system. Check your pressure on the low service line. (farthest to the right line) Should be greater then 0 or your AC shuts off.

Put a dye in it and you will find the leak.
