Mods for a Tip A4??

Im sorry if this has been a topic before.
I searched and i couldnt find anything so i guess i have searching problems
i was cursed because i got a tip instead of a MT.
and some people i know are saying that i can only make the car look good and not go crazy w/ the engine because its a tip.
what can i do to improve performance beside the basic?(exhaust and Chip)
any help would be appreciated.

You can mod it up to around 350 HP safely with a Tip. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Might not be as responsive or fun to drive as a 6 speed, but you can do just about everything with a tip that you can do with a stick.

My old Grand National and Z28's were both automatics ;o)

You can do what ever you want to do,as long as you have the money!

the TIP tranny can handle GTRS power no problem. however, if you want to have a safer mind and faster shifts that also doesn't burn your Torque Converter, you can always upgrade your torque converter and valve body. pm me if you have questions, I will introduce you to someone

Remember one Foot lb. of torque over 320, and ur tranny will slip!

You can do allot to it.

Go GTRS, you won't regret it! And tq shouldn't be a major issue, atleast with Revo it isn't since they slightly detune the flash so that you aren't pushing mad tq to the tranny.
Level10 tiptronic valve body and tq converter are next for my girl.

go to B5S4 section and read the write up about Level10 FTL

what do you recommended then? i though they were the only mfg i know of that makes upgraded products for the tiptronic trannys the A4 uses.

contact 517 Tranny. pm me when you are ready to do it, I will give you the number to call or I will call them myself.
you will have to take out the Torque Converter and Valve Body out first then send them to 517. it will be a week of downtime.

i dont know how much a shop would charge you to take them out and put them back in the Tranny case.
for bulid the TC and VB alone is..... I will pm you with price.

Tip tranny can handle more than 350 HP. The torque converter is the weak link because it's designed to slip after a certain torque level has been reach.

Well hopefully he's not driving an STi or something. I wouldnt get too carried away on what the modded 1.8 is capable of.

a GTRS modded A4 will have no problems with a STi, unless it has decent mods.
