    biggest spacers we can run?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
i have h&r 10mm spacers all around that i bought from achtuning awhile back, but i want wider for a bit (until i throw on my twists )

anyways, whats the widest we can go on stockers without rubbing issues or anything?

buying some things from ECS, might as well pick some new hubcentric spacers as well (my h&r's arent HC).

not too great an idea to space further than you need to.
10mm makes the car flush all the way around iirc.
if you go wider, aside from rubbing, more can go wrong.
id leave it as is if i were you. not worth the $ either.

Re: biggest spacers we can run?

my 10mm's dont make anything flush. i think when i bought my h&r's they sent me 5mm instead and i didnt check them. i know spacing it further will put more strain on wheel bearings,etc...anyone have a picture of 10mm spacers with stock wheels?

I have 20mms on the back and love them. Had them on stock 17" and on my RS6 18". I also have a stud lug conversion all around.

Re: biggest spacers we can run?

I've had 15mm. Too wide for my tastes but some people like it. If I were to do it again, I'd stretch the tires and do 10mm.

If you want to know what size your spacers are 7 pennies = 10mm and 3.5 pennies = 5mm (not exact but very very close)

your wheels have dif width and offset than oem s4 wheels so despite your stance being ABSOLUTELY PERFECT imo... your post didnt really help him out haha what wheels are those?

stretched tires on 7.5 inch wide wheels is a little ridiculous.. you'd have to get like 195s and have NO traction...

Any wider than 15mm, I prefer to run proper bolt-on adapters.

Look like BBS LM's / reps.
