Yes. I have the tix via an email. I just print it out. I only applied yesterday, so i don't know why yours haven't come through. When I got the verification, it allowed me to choose how many were in my party.
I have 2 tix, so if my buddy falls through, i would be happy to go with one of you guys.
pm me your phone numbers and names so if i have an extra ticket, i'll just call you up and we can meet there or roll together.

actually that is the same link i got, but fill out the form one more time, it actually should have a spot for you to choose how many in your party. fill it out and it should bring you to a new page with your tickets. try again and let me know.

Come see your favorite radio and TV host, Adam Carolla, as he hosts the in-studio shoot of the "Top Gear" pilot for NBC! Joining him, to co-host, are champion rally and drift racer Tanner Foust, TV construction guru Eric Stromer, and special celebrity guests!

The taping is this Saturday, July 26th in the Los Angeles suburb of Downey, California. The arrival time is 4 PM and the minimum age to attend is 18.

I have really really low hopes for the show sadly. From what I have read so far and seen pictures of... looks like NBC has totally ruined the "Top Gear" we know and love.

I am expecting it is nothing like Clarkson's gang and their antics or anything like the BBC production , but we'll give it a shot- nice to see other AudiDubbers there. How i wish they can just have Clarkson Hammond and May commute to the states to do taping of a US version testing US market cars....

All I can say is I was pleasantly surprised. It was just like the BBC show, but with american hosts & humor. Stage looked a lot like the BBC one. They even have the Stig. I think this could really work. Corolla is great. Tanner Foust is good, need to polish up on his TV skills. The other guy, Steve Stromer, I don't get & I don't like, but they all seem to have good chemistry together.
I think once this airs, there are going to be a lot of surprised viewers.
The creators of the BBC show were entirely in charge of this US version, which is a very good thing.http://www.audizine.com/forum/images/smilies/race.gif

Oh, one other thing. They claimed the Porsche as the all time best sports car. Then they ran a test between the Aston Martin & the Audi R8, which are the main competitors to the 911. The R8 smoked them both! We have a new sport car bar that has been set, and it was done by the new Audi R8

Did anyone else make it in? When I got there there was a huge line of people waiting to get in. I was on a special list with the BBC, so my buddy & I walked right into the taping at around 3:45. Audience that was working at the time looked to be about 100 - 200 people, and that was it.
I guess a bunch of folks got turned away.

I'm willing to bet that people showed up even though they didn't have tickets. Additionally, they probably overbooked...just in case.

Glad to see Audi representing well - in attendance, and on the track. How were the track events? Did they have news sections? Star in a reasonable priced car?

David Hasselhoff was the Star in the reasonably priced Kia Rio. He was great. Very funny charming guy. Knows how to work a crowd.
And yes, they definitely overbooked the audience.

I had a great time. My buddy realized everyone was waiting near a fake door, so he went up to the dude with dreads and 'the list' and finagled us in early (he works for microsoft/NBC. A few cute brunettes there too, but they kept focusing in on some stripper looking blonde with fake honkers and floral dress....she was yuk (sorry if that was someone's girl). The Hoff and corolla were hilarious (high as a kite) and overall i was impressed. It was pretty freaking hot in the studio, but to be expected and there was plenty of food and drink. Tanner and Adam were great and I have high hopes. They really did a good job both in the studio and especially in the clips. Adam was really personable and not snotty at all. The other dude was definitely out of his element and the only weak part of the show. He was funny in the clips though.

IMO this show will and should air...we desperately need it out here. The opening sequence with the ariel atom dropping from a parachute with the stig was awesome. The show definitely pays the utmost respect to the bbc version, and does TG proud. I am very excited. The crowd was definitely full of enthusiast.

Just like the avant gtg, I almost didn't make this one. Cell phone froze (thanks treo) and my luggage was lost (thanks southwest) but it was a great experience, none the less.
We left around 6:45 after having our fill. When I came out to leave, there were 2 guys chilling around a gunmetal b7 a4/s4 sedan with black OZ superleggera-esque wheels....was this anyone? nice ride dude. we were in a blacked out lexus IS on black wheels (typical socal).

Did anyone see that Honda Fit on airbags making an idiot of himself in the parking lot? lol. lots of nice evos (incl X MR!)and sti's...some clean e46's too.

p.s. there was a white b7? s4 sedan and a silver b5 avant in the VIP parking, were either of these adam's?
