S6 OEM LED Running Lights on B6

Hey folks,

Just saw these on Ebay, complete with a DIY install (R32) of the OEM LED strips (don't usually see that on ebay sales). What are your opinions of doing this on a B6 A4? In the pictures below I even see a B6 with them fitted. What are your thoughts?

Arent these tha same thing as OEM S6 lights??? They look nice, id get a set, but i have no idea where to put them.

The thing is that you lose your fogs in order to have them. They are priced pretty heavily too arent they

thats a tad bit more than i've seen them from online suppliers... i like the concept but, not worth the $ and time to do IMO... wouldn't mind seeing a B6 with them...

i think they might look better without masking tape, just my .02!

also, you could try to have the bumper on the car or something

Yeah, I agree it looks like more PITA than it's worth considering I already have fogs. Plus I don't think it will look as good on my non USP. Someone with USP should do this to make us drool.

ngng. it looks as if when the masking tape on the top is removed, its gonna look like the 997 turbo front how the turn signal cross through the air duct.
cant wait to see the final product

the tips are going to molded over, so it won't quite look how it is ;) sucks cus once i get everything back together, i still need to wire the lights up to a switch :(

ever since i got my car i knew what i wanted to do with it; i've been through a few hiccups along the way...but in the end this is what i want.

I dont know about that I would still go with the lower part. I love with what you did it looks flushed and I can already tell that when the lights are on the light would almost look like a side marker. just beautiful

i'm going to leave them open, no point in putting mesh there since it wont match anything. i won't be running fogs, that would defeat the purpose of the s6 fogs :)

you could also just get the mesh grill and try to make it fit perfectly. I think leaving it empty would make it look like it is missing something..............because it is LOL good luck to you and please send pics when done (even though you are really never done modding)

these lights are so big... i liked the led strip thing in the lower grill so i bought orange ones and tapped them to my blinkers.. has the porsche look and is pretty low so they cant be seen well unless im behind someone
