Hey on my a4 the cooling fan has been stuck on high. Im not sure if its the aux cooling fan or the mechanical. But my guess is just a faulty thermo switch? Could anything else cause this?

    its a 12v

    Re: coolant fan/ thermo switch?

Coolant temp switch located on the passenger side bottom radiator.
Key off > Disconnect it > Key on > if it stops, switch bad.

Low speed only is also controlled by the CC module via relay located behind drivers kickpanel.

If you search the A4 archives, you will find more......
