    Re: Drag 1 st time

Stock and new driver, you'll probably get a mid 15.

    1. Make sure you have 1/8 tank of gas or less. Saaaaave some weight.

    2. Run lots of air pressure in your tires. Look what the rating on the sidewall says, and fill it up to max psi. This will help you break traction easier to get a good launch assuming you have Quattro. For FWD just normal air pressure.\

    3. Turn off ESP. Check it 20 times and make sure it is off all the time.

    4. Take out your spare tire, and any junk you don't need that will add weight.

    5. Keep your windows up of course, learn how to tree works so you know when to go.

    6. Wear snug shoes and not too big of pants so you have good foot control with the pedals.

    Are you manual or auto?
    Ignorance is bliss.

    Re: Drag 1 st time

I didn't mean new driver as in 16 years old, I meant it as in new to drag racing.

Once you do it you'll agree that it isn't exactly red light racing

^ I agree to it right now, I saw it at WF and like I said I am very curious about it. Looks fun as hell. My freind did it for the 1st time, and he did not want to go home, he was just doing it all over and over, it was so fucking funny He was the only one with a V8, everybody in the stands were like WTF?

^ Yeah, I prefer the track racing too. People are always surprised and impressed by how nimble my "practical family-sedan" dives into and through tight-low-speed corners!

Me too I race in STX class but always loose to the EVO's. They are 500 plus pounds ligher and have more HP. Nonetheless the car still impresses people.
