advice for upgrades

i recently purchased an 08 a4 2.0 tiptronic and i was looking to make it faster....any ideas??

suspension, wheels (lighter of course), chip, full back exhaust, bigger turbo, fueling... this is of course there are kits out there, i don't know much about B7 A4's except there is potential

thanks but yea i was looking at a Bt kit but ive heard that because its tiptronic it will kill the transmission.

it does in the twisties... isn't that about the normal sequence of mods Audi enthusiasts use anyway? well, at least for turbo Audis?

the order that I always see is:

1. chip (and new DV)
2. RS4 sway bar and snub mount
3. cold air intact
4. exhaust
5. suspension
6. whatever else you want to do cosmetically.

of course, if you are planning on doing a lot of track driving then the suspension should get moved up in the list.

all this being said, I have not followed my own advice, as you can see from my signature. mostly b/c i wanted to start cheap.

I did the same, i ust went this way cause the funds where there:

Chip (no DV still running stock cause my stock isn't failing)
Carbonio
Exhaust
Wheels & Suspension & RS4 rear sway
WaterMeth (not installed yet)

good point sexican. you don't HAVE to buy a new DV. majority of the time though the chip mod will increase the hp and boost enough to cause the stock DV to blow and cause a nice annoying whistling sound indicating it is time to invest in a Forge DV.

Don't even waste your time with an intake, the stock one is just fine. Chip, Suspension, sways if you don't have factory ones, snub mount, exhaust.

I've got that whistling sound sometimes? if it's the same sound as you mean :)
