k so i left on vacation for two weeks, and when i came home to start my baby, something was wrong, the engine sounded like it was regurgitating like it was out of gas or something, the revs were going up and down and sputtering until the engine died.... i started it again and as i was trying to back it up there were popping noise coming from the front(most likely the breaks sticking) and yes i took the e-break off... the good thing is that after driving it for a little bit, the car was okay, but im still worried.... any help would b greatly appreciated, ty

Yeah, dont leave your parking break on for more than 48hrs + may a day or two; put it in gear. The brake pads will chemically bond to the rotors due to humidity, and temperature changes.

If i am going to be gone for a few days / weeks I will leave a 2x4 in front of the front & rear wheels.

As far as the engine problem...did a CEL come on? Was the fuel tank full when you left or really low (1/8)? If there was a stutter, a CEL should have came on for high pressure fuel pressure too low and or low pressure fuel pressure too low, or knocking, engine lean, mis-fire...etc
