Which Tint Should I Use?

Hey everyone, im new to AZ. I have a 99 audi a4 2.8 Quattro. I was wondering if it would look right to have 50% tint for the front windows, and 35% for the 2 rear windows and the rear windshield. Or should i just do 50% all the way around?

I'm not one for light tints, but IMO I like even tints, I would say 35 all around

I just got 35% on all the sides and 20% on the rear window. It's the perfect amount of tint imo.

I don't want to sound like the Tint Nazi, but be sure that whatever you choose is pretty close to what the local and state laws allow; do your homework. Anything more is asking to be pulled over and checked by local law enforcement, and that is not what anyone wants. Stick with even all around for looks and symmetry. Next to overly noisy exhausts, this is one of the top reasons for a random stop by la Policia; ask yourself what else might they find whilst fishing around?

I'm pretty sure in PA it is legal to have up to 35% on the rear windows, nothing on the front. I haven't be tinting cars in over 5 years but I'm pretty sure that is what I remember the law stating when I used to do it. Also I think there used to be a model year specification built into the law that let cars of a certain age have tint on the 2 front side windows. I'm pretty sure in every state it is illegal to put tint on the windshield. To the OP usually 20-35% all around will be a good choice.

There is a sheet for the PA law. Looks like 30% all the way around is legal.

It is the other way around. 30% tint is illegal. 70% tint, which is factory tint, is legal.

30% tint means that 30% of light visibility

70% tint means that 70% of light visibility (factory tint)

ie Limo tint-only 5% of the sunlight enters the car
