they wouldn't do anything at 50 because there was nothing wrong and it isn't a service interval. where are you in fl?

It would cost you about $1000, which they usually will finance at 0-1%. I think it is worth it. Most of these extended warranty will also allow you to sell it back to them if you don't use it. I would only recommend these types. $0 deductible, roadside assistance and full bumper to bumper warranty. You may be glad that you did.

Try to get them to fix anything and everything you can think of. I even got them to change my tranny and diff fluid even though it was not part of the service plan... (even though I changed it again to something way better 5K later lol)

I would also be interested in hearing what to look for/have replaced and/or at least looked at. My 50k warranty is up in about 4000 miles or so

Coil packs, the new R ones seem to be lasting longer, have them swap those out.

Are you friendly with your service advisor? If not, get friendly with him/her. Mine helps me out with all kinds of "extras". New dash cup holder because mine was starting to chip away, looks the other way knowing my car is chipped. Things like that. He's also going over the car in a week or so to be sure there's nothing that needs attention before my 4yr/50K runs out 7/31.

Where and how? I was quoted MUCH higher to extend my bumper to bumper

That's how much it cost a friend of mine for her X5 Beamer with 80,000 miles. I'll ask her for the details when I talk to her. I know the dealership that sold me my car, if there wasn't a CPO, they were going to charge me $1050 at 0% interest for one.

That NEVER hurts. Prolly the only reason I got them to replace shit they didn't have to replace.

the other thing is if you can get them to get a new engine due to "oil sludge", you will be my hero!
but it would be really tough to do so because you have to know the service manager like a close friend

Brake bleeding is taking the air bubbles out of your brake lines. Usually makes your brakes feel spongy. Usually gets done with the brake job.

Re: please read and help out

It is really hard to change to new brake pads and press the pistons of the caliper in without a proper tool or relieving some pressure by draining out some fluid. If any fluid is released then a brake bleed is in order. Brake fluid accumulates moisture over time which causes it to degrade in performance (dry and wet boiling points). I'd get the fluid changed at 50K if it has not been done yet. Brake bleed sequence is: 1-drivers front, 2-passenger front, 3-drivers rear, 4-passenger rear.
