Did i kill my highflow cat?

hey, i just noticed over the last week that my exhaust is starting to stink like surfer. the car has only had the GTRS, highflow cat, and exhaust for about 2 months and it has been fine up until last week. all parts were new, nothing half used up. did i blew the comb out of my cat when playing around? i haven't had it over 6k and it was only once that i brought it up that high, normally i am in the 2-4k range.

don't have access to a bore scope, and would prefer to not pull it all back apart to soon. is anyone else running a highflow cat that smells a bit?

It's the fuel you're using. A new cat will make the smell worse. Change where you're buying your gas.

So you thought it was some fishy, salty smell? That would not have indicated a CAT to me...but something else...
