Re: how the hell do yout take the trim off the rear fender?

its like riveted in, i tried to pop it off and it broke the trim off of the plastic piece that attaches to the car. now thers just the little screw like thing on the car and it doesnt screw in or out or have access to the back of it for like a nut. so i just cut the head off the pin and pushed the rest of it into the hole that remains after you take the trim off. i really would rather not break the trim when i do the other side. does anyone else know?

both trim pieces on the front and back are rivited in on the lower sides, the only way I could get them off was to break it acutaly but be careful it also uses two push in plastic trim pieces on the top where the trim meets the bumper these can be removed with a screw driver pushing on the push in pin from the bottom up. the trim pieces stay in well enough by themselves without the riviets however if necessary they can of course be removed and replaced with a bolt and nut.
