MTM ECU Reflash for B8 1.8TFSi

Hey guys,

Been doing a bit of research on ECU remaps for the 1.8TFSi and the only one available right now is the MTM program which is supposed to push the power up to 205bhp and 305Nm. Has anyone tried it? I am concerned that with so many electronic gadgets in the car all controlled by the ECU, the program might up the power but may affect other stuff.

I think the guys from MTM know what there doing
and I don't really see what influence a remap could have on anything else but performance?

Didn't Revo just come up with their own remap? 220hp & 373Nm.

hard to go wrong with MTM. you dont get any closer of a relative to Audi then them.

Our 1.8tfsi software should be released to the public shortly. We have the tuning completed and the ability to flash. Currently we are just building our library and once that is complete then it will be available for purchase.

We do not have the 1.8 in the US so I am not 100% up to date on the time frame if you are interested in our software I would contact our head office in the UK via [email protected]

Thanks Chris. Just heard from my local Revo dealer and he pretty much confirmed the same thing i.e. the software coming out soon with 220bhp and 373Nm. Heard that it's supposed to drive like a TDi engine below 4K with that amount of torque!
