    kinda pissed...not chipped..?!

    So I installed the boost gauge finally and took the car for a spin...sure enough only went up to 8lbs and stopped! Several different gears same result. Boo, $495 to get flashed with GIAC locally...

    ^^ like he said, was it pulling harder after you had it chipped with GIAC? You may have created a leak when you installed the gauge.

    your post sounds like you were unsure IF you were chipped and now found out you are not. or did you pay to get chipped just to find you're still running stock boost.

    When you first drive the car after being chipped, you can definitely tell. Boost gauge or not.

    Well I was under the impression it WAS...so... I know where it was done at locally if it was done at all so I will be making a few calls....its was more of a rant post than anything. LOL.
