I believe so. Its not like a turbo wont break being stock right, so I would assume plastic brakes.

It certainly can. Commonly it'll make a honk sound and/or the car will be jerky when getting into boost. Its MUCH more evident in a chipped car, but its completely possible in a stock car as well. We have a special on forge DV's if youre interested-

does the flutter sound happen when you let off boost?
then it's most likely the dv, i had the same problem.
do the pen test on the dv to confirm and replace with a forge or baileys.
they (at least i know forge does) supply service kits for free so you usually wont ever have to replace the entire dv again.

if the cat seperated from the turbo, your car would just be balls loud

Ok well good news and bad news. The bad news is Is I could not get it to flutter all but when I first took of out of my driveway but I was not recording. Its on boost and not sure of anything else. The good news Is I caught some rice driving down the road while I was recording so here it is.

ABSOLUTLEY. its just a thin diaphram that will dry out/harden and fail over time, especially if you live in an area with alternating climates

ya well its going to be changed sooner than later so mise well just do it and see if that fixes it. I am going to be going out again to see if I cant get it. But like people say its sounds like a honk and this sounds like a flutter and its on boost not off boost.
