Anyone ever suggest a car insurance section?

Just having a terrible experience with progressive insurance and I'm wondering if anyone out there has suggested the creation of a car insurance section to discuss and review different companies and share past experiences both negative and positive.

Not that I can remember. You're the first. Ideally we could get an insurance company to sponsor it, and a rep or two to help answer questions...

i'm an allstate agent. but i don't think i or any agents would sponsor a general forum since we need a license in that state in order to help people. only people i can really help are people in IL, not that I can't offer or help with information about general insurance.

That's too bad. Does answer why it's not already being done. So there are no nationwide agents that can offer general help? Sure would be a huge benefit.

i can offer the best advice i can...but laws vary state by state....coverages, etc. so no...there are no nationwide agents that i can think of. every state requires a license to be paid to the state, some requiring state exams before they will license you. plus your company has to see reason for giving you the abililty to write business in another state.

like i said...i'd be happy to give the best advice and guidance i can. i think i have a general idea on how things work
