Not a fan of the fender flares already...Is it functional?

I guess the definition of a widebody has changed over the years... I can't say I don't like fender flares (RS4, RS6, ur quattro), they can be tastefully done, but that's not a widebody, that's just an illusion of the look that some street cars turned race cars had, but the wider body wasn't done to "look dope", no, it was necessary, to accommodate two things: wider wheels to put all that extra power down, and a redesigned suspension, where the whole hub area was moved away from the engine to make more room in the engine bay, either for a larger engine, and/or for the engine to be dropped, for a lower center of gravity.

How do you plan to fill the wide fendered wheel well? With more negative offset and/or spacers? That'll do more harm than good... It's amazing what people are willing to do just for looks.

Fender Flares are pretty much wide body for an audi unless you go CRAZYYYYY!!!

thanks, the fenders are molded into the sideskirts and the rear bumper is molded to the fender. the sideskirts flares out a little bit but its not like du-du's where his sideskirts are pulled out.
