measure the resistance of the stock blinkers and they should get you close.

    Those are cool. I want.

About 8-10 ohms and 30W should do it. These can be had for $3 each.

Resistors go between the ground and plus feed for the bulb. Tie wrap them up behind the lamp assembly. Careful, they will get warm during use.

this is how i tried to wire up 10 ohm resistors

it didn't work then i tried a heavier one but it didn't go away it just sucked up the voltage so im wiring this wrong i know this but how do you mean ^^ ? where do i wire them up too ?

Re: Resistors needed blinker on the fritz

    Sorry no picture before......

    It should be

    Lamp---=|=------- to harness +
    .............|
    .............0
    .............0 <<< Resistor
    .............0
    .............|
    Lamp---=|=------- to harness -

little resistors are gonna go up in smoke if thats what you've got to test it tho...
    this job requires lotsa watts.

    lOl, yup.

Hope that pic is not to scale tho....20W+ resistors are big.

Re: Resistors needed blinker on the fritz

    thas cool!

You might get by with the cheaper 10W resistors. Just hook it up and see how hot they get after leaving the blinker on for like a minute. Don't scorch your digits man.
